Applications are now open for the Urban Agriculture Small Award Program to provide funding to build capacity for crop production and distribution, and to increase knowledge among farmers and District residents through agricultural education experience.

The goals of this Request for Applications (RFA) are to support the increased infrastructure and operations at urban farms to advance strategies to support the success of agriculture initiatives for socially disadvantaged farmers.

The District of Columbia Urban Agriculture Small Award Program seeks to support the success of agriculture initiatives for socially disadvantaged farmers through the increase of infrastructure and operations, to provide funding to build capacity for crop production and distribution, and to increase knowledge for farmers and District residents through agricultural education experiences.
