The Dollar General Literacy Foundation is pleased to launch a call for proposals for the Youth Literacy Grants Program.
Areas
Grant funding is provided to assist in the following areas:
- Implementing new or expanding existing literacy programs
- Purchasing new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives
- Purchasing books, materials or software for literacy programs
Funding Information
Maximum grant amount: $4,000.
Eligibility Criteria
Schools, public libraries, and nonprofit organizations who help students that are below grade level or having trouble reading are eligible to apply.
Is your organization one of the following:
- A qualified 501(c)(3) organization with a valid IRS tax ID?
- A K-12 Private or Public School?
- A College or University?
- A Public Library?
