The Dyson Group of Companies is seeking applications for its Community Grants Program.
The Dyson Group of Companies (The Funder) Community Support Program has been established to provide support to a range of community-based organisations providing services to the community of Victoria.
As a caring corporate citizen, The Funder recognises that many community-based organisations do good work that makes a difference to people’s lives. Often these organisations struggle to raise funds through the competitive funding environment and they should support that work where possible.
To that end they have established the Dyson Group of Companies Community Support Program to assist community-based organisations to provide their services and continue their good work.
Funding Information
The Program will have two funding rounds with grants limited to a maximum of $1000 (inclusive of GST) per application. Applicants can apply for any amount of funding up to, but not exceeding, $1000.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for a grant your organisation should meet one or more of the following criteria.
- Be a registered not-for-profit with DGR status, or
- Be an incorporated not-for-profit, or
- Be a registered sporting club recognised by your sport’s peak body, league or association, or
- Be an early learning, primary or secondary educational institution
- Other groups may apply at The Funders discretion
- Organisations applying for funding must be based within or deliver the majority of their services within Victoria.
- Applications from organisations outside of Victoria will be considered where Dysons provide services to that area. Funding is not available to individuals. Funding is not available for political or religious projects.
- Funding is available for projects that provide a definable benefit to the community and whose outcomes can be clearly measured.
- Funding as a joint funder will be considered where the applicant can demonstrate that the balance of funding to complete the project is secured prior to their application being lodged for this grant.
- Organisations are not eligible to apply for a grant in a round following a round where they have been provided a grant.
- Funding over more than one round for the one project will not be considered.
