Latest Funding Opportunities for NGOs working across Africa

The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of South Africa is seeking applications to implement a project concept of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Promotion Project – “The Education of Southern African youth in the field of corruption prevention”.

The project‘s aim is to strengthen the skills of the youth from the Southern Africa countries in the field of the corruption prevention. To fulfil this aim the project implementer will select two successful candidates to participate in the Transparency International School on Integrity (TISI), which is an annual anti-corruption and accountability training for future leaders.

The upcoming TISI 2019 will take place 8 – 14 July in Vilnius, Lithuania. TISI exposes its participants to the latest developments in the field of anti-corruption and accountability and offers real opportunities to try to implement their ideas in practice. Transparency International School on Integrity is for senior students, graduates and young professionals eager to learn how to make a stand against corruption and to achieve greater transparency in the countries of Southern Africa.

Funding Information

The Project will cover the costs related to the visa issuance, transportation and accommodation of the selected candidates. Up to 5000 (five thousand) EUR will be allocated to the project in 2019.

Eligibility Criteria

Legal entities of the Republic of South Africa, the Republic of Angola, the Republic of Botswana, the Republic of Mozambique and the Republic of Namibia are invited to apply for the program.
