The Environmental Justice Fund (EJF) is accepting applications to strengthen the environmental justice movement in South Africa by providing financial, capacity-building and networking support to community-based organisations and networks.

Funding Information

EJF makes grants with a duration of anything from 6 months to 1 year. The size of the grants can be anything from R50 000 – R100 000. The size of the grant is related to the length of the grant, and what the organisation wants to use the funds for.

What EJF supports

EJF supports environmental justice activism. EJF has a broad understanding of the term ‘environmental justice’. EJF may therefore support work on, amongst other things:
