The European Union is currently accepting proposals from eligible organisations for a Provision to the improvement of living conditions of IDPs and returnees from readmission process in Serbia and support to the sustainable return to Kosovo in order to contribute to the Rule of Law in Serbia by strengthening the migration management and border control.
The programme is divided into two lots:
- Lot 1: Improvement of living conditions of IDPs and returnees from readmission process in Serbia– EUR 3,150,000.
- Lot 2: Support to the return- EUR 2,500,000.
Size of Grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- Lot (1)
- Minimum amount: EUR 250.000
- Maximum amount: EUR 500.000
- Lot (2)
- Minimum amount: EUR 200.000
- Maximum amount: EUR 400.000
Location
Actions must take place in the Republic of Serbia.
Duration
The initial planned duration of any action may not be lower than 18 months nor exceed 24 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person
- be non-profit-making
- be civil society organizations
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or, in a country covered by the Article of the IPA Regulation
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- in case the applicant is as CSO not established in Serbia, it must act with at least one co-applicant that is established in Serbia.
- Potential applicants may not participate in calls for proposals or be awarded grants if they are in any of the situations
- The lead applicant may act individually or with co-applicant(s).
How to Apply
- The application procedure consists of two phases:
- Concept notes
- Full applications
- In the first instance, only concept notes must be submitted for evaluation. Thereafter, lead applicants who have been pre-selected will be invited to submit a full application
