The European Union Office in Kosovo implemented by the Kosovo Foundation for Open Society (KCSF) is seeking applications for its project “Grant scheme for the advocacy initiatives of community-based organizations” to provide financial support for the advocacy initiatives of community organizations.
The overall purpose of the scheme is to support advocacy initiatives with community based organizations, which contribute to changes in society at the local level.
Funding Information
- The budget for this call for proposals is 200,000 EUR.
- The maximum amount of funds for a grant awarded through the scheme is 12,000 EUR.
Project Criteria
Through this call for proposals is foreseen to provide grants for projects that are achieve specific results provided within a specified deadline. These grants will be awarded those community-based organizations, which will present compelling ideas and have greatest potential for the implementation of their proposals. This call will support proposals innovative and concrete:
- Identify and analyze clear problem / issue or situation that is intended to be changed, covering needs at least one group of citizens spekcifik locally.
- Promote and strengthen civic activism.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, the applicant must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a non-governmental organization based in the community (grassroot) registered
- To have annual turnover of less than 25,000 EUR in the last three years.
- To address the needs of a specific group of society through their active involvement in performance of the organization.
- Be directly responsible for managing the project and has no role
- To demonstrate the capacity to manage the proposed activities.
- Interested applicants can apply with only one application. This rule is applicable as for applicants as well as partners in the application.
