European Commission: Call for Proposals for Projects Fight Against Firearms Trafficking

The European Commission is currently seeking proposals from for its grant program with an aim at funding Projects on the Fight Against Firearms Trafficking.

Priority Areas

The main priority of the call is to enhance operational cooperation between EU Member States or EU Member States and third countries located along firearms trafficking routes to and from the EU, such as East and South East Europe and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries, notably by supporting joint initiatives on knowledge, detection, investigation and prosecution of firearms trafficking.

Funding Information

The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects is estimated at EUR 2 000 000 (two million euros).
