The European Commission is calling for proposals to Support Simple Programmes Targeting other Geographical Areas for the Promotion of agricultural products.
The objectives of these programmes shall comply with the general and specific objectives and the aims in particular the specific features of agricultural production methods in the Union, particularly in terms of food safety, traceability, authenticity, labelling, nutritional and health aspects, animal welfare, respect for the environment and sustainability (including climate benefits such as the greenhouse gas emissions reduction and/or increase in carbon removals), and the characteristics of agricultural and food products, particularly in terms of their quality, taste, diversity or traditions.
The expected ultimate impact is to enhance the competitiveness and consumption of Union agri-food products, raise their profile and increase their market share in these targeted countries.

Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible, the applicants must:
- be legal entities (public or private bodies)
- be established in an EU Member State (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs))
- be eligible organisations or bodies
