The European Commission is seeking applications for its program “ERASMUS+ Youth Mobility Funding”.
Erasmus+ is open to organisations across all sectors of education, training, youth and sport. Any public or private organisation actively involved in these areas may apply for funding. The overall programme objectives are to:
- boost skills and employability
- modernise education, training and youth work
- focus on young people.
Program Activities
- There are three types of learning mobility activities for youth: youth exchanges; training/networking for youth workers; and Volunteering projects.
- One or more activities can be combined into a mobility project, with a UK organisation or in some cases, an informal group of young people, working in partnership with one or more organisations from the Erasmus+ participating countries.
Eligibility Criteria
- UK organisations active in the youth field can participate in a youth mobility project. Informal groups of young people are also eligible to apply for funding under some parts of this Key Action
- Strategic Partnerships in the youth field must include a minimum of two partners from two different Programme Countries, including the applicant organisation.
- As a general rule the Erasmus+ programme is open to programme countries which include member states of the European Union as well as non EU programme countries.
- Other countries can participate in the programme on a limited basis and may participate in certain actions or according to specific conditions, these are known as partner countries.
