fAKT Grant Program: For a Stronger Voice of Civil Society Organizations

Mercy Foundation’s 2020 Social Justice Small Grants Program in Australia

The Active Citizenship Fund fAKT has announced the first call for grants to non-governmental organizations within the project “For a stronger voice of civil society organizations”, which fAKT realizes with the support of the US Embassy in Podgorica.

The aim of the project is to strengthen the influence of civil society and contribute to positive social and democratic changes, and therefore the focus will be on projects that:

Funding Information

The maximum amount of individual grant under this program is $ 20,000, and at least 5 projects will be supported: the total fund for this program is $ 100,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Non-governmental organizations registered in Montenegro (in accordance with the Law on NGOs) can be applied for the allocation of funds, which are recognized by their actions and achieved results in one of the mentioned fields, that is, organizations that have relevant experience and expertise.

Categories of Applicants and Number of Applications

Note: The proposed projects can last up to 9 (nine) months.

Supported organizations will be required to contact the FAKT office for visibility instructions financing.

In order to achieve lasting changes, it is necessary to strengthen partnership relations: cooperation between civil society organizations, as well as cross-sectoral cooperation. Therefore, they will be more likely to be financed by:
