The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) is currently inviting applications for its Youth Engagement, Education, and Employment Programs with an aim to provide youth hires to support community outreach projects at Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico.
Conservation Legacy is a national organization dedicated to supporting locally based conservation service programs that – empower individuals to positively impact their lives, their communities and the environment.
This proposal focuses on conservation service opportunities specifically at the Valle de Oro Urban Wildlife Refuge in Albuquerque, NM.
Funding Information
There will be one single amendment awarded for$60,000 to CL to provide two DOI VISTAS and a local conservation corps crew to support community outreach projects at Valle de Oro National Wildlife Refuge in New Mexico.
Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. non-profit, non-governmental organizations are eligible to apply for this fund and must provide a copy of their Section 501(c) (3) or (4) status determination letter received from the Internal Revenue Service.
- Federal law mandates that all entities applying for Federal financial assistance must have a valid Dun & Bradstreet Data Universal Number System (DUNS) number and have a current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM).
