The Fishburners is pleased to announce the Tech for Good Awards that recognises, promotes and rewards startups creating solutions for sustainable development.
It’s time to spotlight ambitious founders who are tackling the world’s most pressing environmental, economic and social challenges. They are excited to work with their partners and the startup community to accelerate innovations in sustainable development.

Entries will need to demonstrate ideas enabled by technology that are intended to change the world by positively impacting people and the planet across 7 categories:
- Climate Action: This category recognises outstanding tech-enabled solutions to combat climate change and its impacts.
- Sustainability: This category recognizes outstanding tech enabled solutions that address the reduction of environmental impact and/or contribute to the preservation of their resources.
- Better Health and Wellbeing: This award recognises outstanding tech enabled solutions focused on improving health and wellbeing for the greater good. Mental health, social affordable health, better wellbeing for all.
- Diversity and Inclusion: This category recognizes outstanding tech-enabled solutions that contributes to a fairer, safer, more equitable and inclusive society.
- Sustainable Product: The physical product should include new ingredients, raw and recycled materials, and other sustainable innovations, providing customers with more choices that are good for both them and the planet.
- Tech for Good Female Founder: This award recognises an impact-driven, successful female founder working on a Tech for Good venture.
- Social Impact: Awarded to the startup creating significant, positive change that addresses a pressing social challenge.
- All applicants will be considered for the Excellence Award: This judges choice will be awarded to the solution with the highest overall score.
Benefits
- Thanks to their generous sponsors, each winner of the seven categories will receive $5000 in prize money.
- Of these winners, the startup with the highest overall score will be awarded the Tech for Good Excellence Award and receive an additional $5000 in prize money.
- The Finalists will be announced in August with the Winners awarded at a special event in September.
