Program Process
- Selection
- They open applications for 2 months on F65 to give everyone the chance to be part of one of the cohorts, and they filter the applications they receive online in order to meet the founders behind the startups and better understand their businesses. The interview lasts 15 minutes during which the founders pitch their project, present their prototype and their business model. Only 25% of the interviewed candidates will access the bootcamp, a 4-day event that represents a preview of the acceleration. Participating startups will attend trainings, talks and team building activities. All this represents a preparation for the Selection Committee.
- 1st Month
- In the first month they hold an orientation session to introduce the 4-month program plan to the startups, start the weekly one-on-one sessions, and organize pitch workshops to help the startups enhance their pitches before they present in front of the community during the official cycle opening.
- 2nd Month
- During the second month, startups are introduced to their coaches and mentors who will be helping them throughout the cycle, with tailored sessions that will enhance their business operations, marketing efforts and more.
- 3rd Month
- They offer the startups a magnitude of opportunities to introduce their solutions to corporates and investors, who can help them pinpoint where they can improve what they are offering or how a corporate like them could be using their solutions.
- 4th Month
- Few weeks before the Demo Day, startups make their final rehearsals of their pitches, along with the photoshoots they get for their startups and a recording of their pitches for easy access for investors.
- Demo Day
- Flat6Labs’ entrepreneurs go through a number of milestones during the training program including the Program Opening, Product Day, the Market day, and the Demo Day, events through which entrepreneurs are able to present their product to a select crowd, receive feedback, network & pitch to potential investors.
- Post-Graduation
- After Demo Day, only the best companies move on to receive follow-on funding. Flat6Labs helps teams secure funding by providing them with further assistance with their financials and linking them to more investors. Although teams can no longer work from the office after Demo Day, every startup remains part of the Flat6Labs network with continuous access to the mentor network, support, perks, workshops, and more.
