FRRR announces Grant Program to Increase Social Participation among Australian Communities

The Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) has recently announced its “In a Good Place”, a national grants program that provides support for community-driven initiatives that reduce social isolation, increase social participation and connectedness, and increase help-seeking of members within rural, regional and remote communities who are at risk of, or are experiencing, mental health issues.

The program is open primarily to non-clinical approaches that are community-based and accessible at a grassroots level in a range of settings. Priority will be given to initiatives that:

Projects funded in this round should be undertaken between December 2019 and December 2020. Projects cannot be funded retrospectively.

Grant Information

In a Good Place offers grants of up to $20,000 from an annual funding pool of $200,000. In this round, $100,000 is available.
