The Finnish Embassy in Tunis is currently accepting applications for its Fund for Local Cooperation (FLC) with an aim to support the initiatives of Tunisian civil society to complement Finland’s bilateral assistance for poverty reduction and civil society participation in the development process.
In its FCL program, the Embassy of Finland in Tunis focuses on the employability of young people and on women’s economic rights and financial autonomy.
Priorities
- Promoting women’s economic rights and financial self-sufficiency
- Promote the entrepreneurship of young people who have undergone vocational training
Funding Information
The FCL allows the Embassy of Finland to grant a grant of 31,000 euros to two projects following this call for projects. Subsidized projects must start in 2017 and end before the end of 2018.
Technical Criteria
- Clarity of the definition of results (results chain or logical framework), indicators, analysis of the initial situation, risks, risk management
- Project activities are realistic, relevant and contribute to desired outcomes
- The project budget is capable of
- Project management and key figures are sufficient to achieve desired outcomes
- The organization’s experience with the theme of the project
- Experience in project management
- The project takes into account the human rights approach
- The project promotes the key values and know-how of Finland in its sector of intervention in Tunisia
