Future Drought Fund: Networks to Build Drought Resilience Grant

Apply for CHEJ Small Grants Program (United States)

Deadline: 25-Sep-20

The Australian Government is inviting applications to deliver services under the Future Drought Fund: Networks to Build Drought Resilience (NBDR) Project. The aim of this project is to build community capacity by strengthening social and community networking, support, engagement, and wellbeing. These actions will build an enduring resilience to the impacts of climate change, including drought, and enhance the public good in agriculture-dependent communities.

Drought resilience includes the ability to adapt, reorganize or transform in response to changing temperature, increasing variability and scarcity of rainfall, and changed seasonality of rainfall, which may lead to improved economic, environmental, and social wellbeing.
