Submissions are now open for the Future Industries Grant Program to assist any Indigenous corporation who requires the assistance of specialist skills to analyse a commercial opportunity in one of the National Indigenous Land and Sea Strategy priority sectors.
Priority Sectors
- The priority sectors are:
- Carbon
- Renewables and clean energy
- Environmental markets
- Inland water
- Fisheries and aquaculture
Funding Information
- The amount of each grant will be determined following an assessment of the application but is capped at $50,000 (excluding GST) for each individual organisation.
Uses of the Funds
- The funding can be used for the procurement for the following services, but are not limited to:
- Data collection and analysis
- Viability and cost benefit advice
- Commercial, financial and risk advice
- Legal, governance and tax advice
- Community consultation, planning and facilitated decision making
Eligibility Criteria
- Indigenous corporations (incorporated) may be eligible for assistance through the program if they require specialist advice and/or services in relation to a commercial opportunity in the priority sectors.
