The Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) has launched a call for proposals for funding from the Caribbean and the Pacific under for the Biodiversity Information for Development (BID) programme.

Biodiversity Information for Development (BID) is a multi-year, €3.9 million programme funded by the European Union and led by GBIF—the Global Biodiversity Information Facility—with the aim of increasing the amount of biodiversity information available for use in scientific research and policymaking in the ‘ACP’ nations of sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific.

Funding Information

The total potential funding assigned to these two calls is €1,000,000, or €500,000 for each region.
