GCERF Call for EOIs: Strengthening Community Resilience to Violent Extremism in Bangladesh

The Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund (GCERF) and the Bangladesh Country Support Mechanism (CSM) of GCERF have announced a Call for Expression of Interest from Bangladeshi organisations to become a Principal Recipient (PR) or a Direct Grantee of funding from GCERF’s Core Funding Mechanism (CFM).

The Call for Expression of Interest is for initiatives to strengthen community resilience to violent extremism in Bangladesh.

The GCERF Governing Board approved the pre-allocation of up to USD5 million over 3yearsto support programmes in Bangladesh that focus on:

Funding will be available for grants of up to three years in duration and commencing in 2019 on a rolling basis. GCERF will provide grants to individual organisations or consortia working at community level. Each consortium should be led by a Principal Recipient responsible for providing sub-grants to other consortium members. Priority will be given to organisations with proven successful PVE experience.
