The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced a call for proposals for the NGO Grant Competition for digital skills development of rural communities and enterprises.

The primary objective of the call is to support rural enterprises in harnessing the benefits from the digital economy, reaping the opportunities offered by digitization and adapting rapidly to new reality during and in aftermath COVID-19 crisis throug h improved digital skills and capacities.

Objectives

Proposal should address following key objectives:

  • Development of digital skills course for rural enterprises and delivering the virtual course for micro, small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Create Open Educational Resource (OER) in digitals skills for rural communities (including youth, women and other vulnerable groups) and enterprises with consideration of rural context of Georgia (access to digital infrastructure, existing skills and service uptake).

Funding Information

  • Any funds requested for the grant(s) under this Call for Proposals for each lot must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
    • Minimum amount: USD 15,000.
    • Maximum amount: USD 30,000.
