Glen Eira City Council announces COVID-19 Community Action Grants Program

IDB Research Call: Evaluating the Impact of COVID-19 on Pension Systems in LAC

Deadline: 30-Oct-20

The Glen Eira City Council has announced the 2020 COVID-19 Community Action Grants Program to provide support to community organisations that are experiencing hardship, as well as, offering assistance for programs that directly benefit the community.

The focus of this grant program is to respond to the immediate challenges of COVID-19 and to help build community resilience, cohesion and connectedness both during and after the pandemic.

The Glen Eira City Council focuses on developing a tolerant and caring community where you can take part in our decision-making. Their  leadership strives for a transparent process that creates financially responsible and environmentally sustainable outcomes. They will consult with the best experts and listen to your views to decide on the City’s priorities.

With an increasingly diverse community, the Glen Eira City Council treats all people with respect and dignity, providing equal access to services and resources. The Council also finds gaps not being met by other community providers or levels of government, and lift standards within the constraints of its resources.
