Government of Canada’s Call for Concept Papers: Workplace Opportunities – Removing Barriers to Equity!

The Government of Canada is seeking concept papers for the Labour Program’s second round of the “Workplace Opportunities: Removing Barriers to Equity” to support employers subject to the Employment Equity Act (the Act) in their efforts to improve designated group representation in areas of low representation through partnerships and industry-tailored strategies.

Workplace Opportunities will provide funding to eligible recipients to develop tailored solutions to support the four designated groups under the Employment Equity Act (women, Aboriginal peoples, persons with disabilities, and members of visible minorities).

Funding Information

Funding of up to $500,000 total per fiscal year is available and may be distributed in whole or in part to approved projects, provided recipients contribute financially (no minimum) or in-kind to the project.
