CFPs: Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation Grants Program in Cambodia

Deadline: 31-Jul-23

The Embassy of Japan in Armenia has announced the Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) that support NGOs and local public institutions in order to respond to various development needs in a prompt and precise manner, but on a comparatively small scale.

The GGP aims to achieve economic and social development in developing countries based on the philosophy of human security, and provide the necessary funding for relatively small-scale activities in a way that directly benefits inhabitants at the grass-roots level. It is commonly referred to as “KUSANONE” in Japan. “Kusa” means “grass” and “Ne” means “roots” in Japanese.

Every year, within the frames of GGP projects, the Embassy of Japan in Armenia announces grants competition for the current fiscal year. The GGP welcomes projects addressing challenges in various spheres including Education, Health, Welfare, Environment, Agriculture, Water and Sanitation, Mine risk reduction, Refugee assistance and in promotion of inclusiveness (specific project examples are available at the Guideline).
