The Grant County Community Foundation (GCCF) is seeking applications for the Competitive Grants Program.
Grant County Community Foundation (GCCF) serves the residents of Grant County by connecting people who care with causes that matter and providing donors a flexible, accountable, and impactful way to make current gifts as well as gifts through their wills to groups and organizations they care about.
What kinds of requests are considered?
The Foundation considers grants that support a variety of funding opportunities including, but not limited to projects of programs that support:
- Arts
- Community Development
- Education
- Environmental/Beautification
- Health
- Human Services
- Recreation
- Technology
- Youth
GCCF will NOT consider the following:
- Applications for non-charitable purposes
- Political projects of any kind
- Organizations or projects that practice discrimination by race, color, creed, sex, age or national origin
- Operating deficits or retirement of debt
- Religious organizations for religious purposes
Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) or other exempt organizations/groups or the government equivalent.
- Individuals or organizations that do not fall into one of the above types of institutions are encouraged to partner with a fiscal agent in one of those categories. If that is not possible, a grant may still be awarded for a charitable project, but with additional expenditure responsibility requirements.
- Unless noted otherwise, the priority is to projects or programs that benefit Grant County, Kansas.
