The Eau Claire Community Foundation is seeking applications for its Phase 3 Response and Recovery, Part 2 grant program. Grants in Response and Recovery, Part 2 will still support basic needs as Part 1 supported COVID-19 recovery efforts, but will also help a more diverse array of nonprofits (arts, education, etc.) meet urgent operational needs as they adapt to new conditions caused by the pandemic.
As a tax-exempt public charity created by and for the Eau Claire community, the ECCF establishes endowments that are invested to provide long-term support for charitable purposes. When the endowment principals earn interest and dividends over time, the earnings are distributed to local non-profit organizations.
COVID-19 recovery efforts in Eau Claire County. Focus areas were food insecurity, financial stability, housing and utilities stability, medical support, and educational services. Grants were made with a priority on meeting the urgent basic needs of community members.
Grants in Response and Recovery, Part 2 will still support basic needs but will also help a more diverse array of nonprofits (arts, education, etc.) meet urgent operational needs as they adapt to new conditions caused by the pandemic.
Eligibility Criteria
- 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Groups fiscally sponsored by 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
- Other charitable organizations able to receive tax-deductible contributions
- Any nonprofits that meet these criteria and serve Eau Claire County are eligible to apply.
- The grant application should only be submitted by one organization. The applicants can invite collaborators to assist.
