Deadline: 30-Jul-21
The Couch Family Foundation is seeking applications for its grant program to support organizations and programs that serve communities in the Upper Connecticut River Valley region and Martha’s Vineyard.
The Couch Family Foundation seeks to work with strong, stable organizations that respond to the needs of the community. Some of the characteristics they look for include: strong leadership, deep community relationships, comprehensive approaches to addressing need, and partnerships with other agencies and institutions.
The Foundation makes both project and unrestricted grants.
Priorities
They encourage project grants applications that support the following priorities:
- New initiatives or pilot programs;
- Special projects or enhancements of current projects and programs;
- Impact studies or evaluations of current programs; or
- Organizational capacity building.
The Foundation prioritizes funding proposals from early education and care providers that serve the highest need families and address key gaps in access for infants and toddlers, and for full-day care. They also support providers who are committed to quality improvement and who, in the Upper Valley, contribute to the work of the Early Care and Education Association to build a strong network of peer support and peer learning for early educators.
