The applications period started for mentoring and grant support by the project “Life is Easy in Digital”, implemented by TOBB, UNDP, Habitat Association and Türk Telekom to offer training opportunities on digital literacy and digital marketing to women entrepreneurs. The project aims to train 10,000 women in 81 provinces by year end.
Life is Easy in Digital’ initiative aims to bolster the digital competencies of women who receive training on digital literacy and digital marketing and support them to market their products over online venues.
Women participating in the Digital Marketing Training and Design Thinking Workshop held within the scope of the project will be able to apply for mentorship and grant support. Entrepreneurial women, who passed the technical screening after the application, will be included in the mentoring program, which is planned to last approximately 2 weeks. Grant support will be provided to 10 women who have successfully completed the final evaluation among women who received mentoring support so that they can develop their business.
Purpose
- Within the scope of the “Life is Easy in Digital” project, it is aimed to support the businesses and brands of 10 entrepreneur women who sell through digital channels, to contribute to the more active participation of women in economic life and to strengthen the social role of women.
Details
- Grant support to entrepreneur women: Twenty participants from among entrepreneur women who participated in the training on digital marketing and design-oriented thinking, earned application to the grant and mentoring program and passed the preliminary screening will have the opportunity to participate in the training of two weeks to improve their business and mark. Ten women who will successfully pass the final interview will be entitled to receive business development grants.
- ‘If your brand is not on digital venues, it does not exist’: Women supported through the initiative inspire others by their success stories in training and creating own brands. Naz Teker, a participant in the new term of the project, expressed that they acquired different perspectives on digital marketing through the interactive training and said: “They learned how to view differently those enterprises which started and failed, and how to improve such enterprises. If your brand is not on digital venues, it does not exist.” Selling sustainable, hand-made home decoration products under her brand Palp Studio, Ms. Teker also noted that training programs were a great treasure that contained information to guide particularly small enterprises.
- Having reached 8,000 women to date through the training on digital literacy and digital marketing, ‘Life is Easy in Digital’ aims to train 10,000 women in 81 provinces.
Program Stages
- Stage 1: Mentoring
- Entrepreneurial women will be included in the mentoring program of 20 women who passed the technical qualification after completing their online application to the “Life is Easy in Digital” project mentoring and grant support program, and will receive training that will contribute to the development of their business and brand in the program, which is planned to last approximately 2 weeks.
- Stage 2: Final Assessments
- After the mentoring program, the final interview will be held. In the final, the 10 women who get the highest score in the jury evaluation according to the grant receiving criteria will be entitled to receive a business development grant. Initiatives that are entitled to receive grant support will be anno unced with an award ceremony.
Eligibility Criteria
- Entrepreneurial women over the age of 18, who participated in the Digital Marketing Training and Design-Oriented Thinking Workshop held within the scope of the project,
- Those who are exempt from tradesmen or tradesmen,
- Those who want to expand their business, have this motivation and are open to learning.
- The prerequisite for participation is that the business belongs to an entrepreneur woman or that the sig nature authority belongs to a woman.
Ineligible
- Members and employees of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) ,
- United Nations Development Program (UNDP) employees,
- Habitat Association employees,
- Türk Telekom employees,
- Beneficiaries who have been granted a grant by the Habitat Association for less than 2 years
