Grants for Supporting the Local Labor Justice System in Mexico

The Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB), U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL, or the Department), announces the availability of approximately $10 million total costs (subject to the availability of Federal funds) for one (1) cooperative agreement to fund a technical assistance project with the overarching objective to contribute to the increased effectiveness of local labor courts in Mexico to adjudicate individual and collective labor cases, including cases related to freedom of association, collective bargaining, and other fundamental rights.

This FOA solicits applications to implement one (1) project with the objective of supporting local labor courts in Mexico.

Objectives

The project must be designed to achieve two or more outcomes that are considered both necessary and sufficient to achieve the project objective, and substantially contribute to the desired long-term impact(s).
