The Charter Project Africa has launched an open call for its project on Democratic Governance to support civil society organisations to use civic technology to promote and popularise the African Governance Architecture (AGA).

This call will focus on using civic tech solutions to strengthen democratic governance in Zambia. Its main aim will be to support civil society in Zambia to raise awareness about the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance (ACDEG) and, among other things, advocate for its ratification and popularization as an important instrument that can help promoting, monitoring and assessing democratic consolidation and entrenchment of a democratic political culture.

The Charter Project Africa is a pan-African project that focuses on the commitments contained in the African Charter on Democracy, Elections and Governance (ACDEG)-the African Union’s principal policy document for advancing democratic governance in African Union member states.
