The Lotterywest has announced the applications for its Grassroots Community-Led Grants to help not-for-profit organisations and local governments deliver great outcomes for communities across Western Australia.
Priority Areas
- Inclusive thriving community: Supporting the diversity of Western Australians to actively engage in community life.
- Connected cultural experiences: Bringing people together through the arts, heritage and cultural activities.
- Protected sustainable ecosystems: Supporting the community to sustain and enhance the unique species and environments.
- Smart innovative society: Optimising the community’s talent and capability.
- Active healthy people: Assisting the community to be more active and support initiatives which promote healthy lives.

Eligibility Criteria
- You’re an eligible organisation if you are:
- a not-for-profit organisation (i.e. none of the profits go to owners or shareholders); or
- a local government authority.
- Smaller not-for-profits may prefer to be auspiced by an eligible organisation.
- Your organisation also needs to:
- be an Australian entity undertaking activities for the benefit of the Western Australian community;
- not be operating on behalf of the State or Federal Government; or
- have the authority to undertake the proposed grant activities.
