The Auckland Council is accepting applications for its Henderson-Massey Quick Response Grant Program to provide contestable community grants to local communities.
Priorities
A higher priority will be given to:
- locally based and not for profit events and organisations
- activities that improve Maori and Pasifika outcomes
- activities that improve community connectedness and are inclusive
- events that demonstrate smoke free, waste minimisation and offers healthy food alternatives
- applications that promote and encourage healthy lifestyle

- Amount: $500 – $2000

- Sports and recreation

- Henderson-Massey is a great place to live, work, and play
- A thriving, inclusive and engaged community
- Thriving Maori culture and identity
- Everyone contributes to building resilience and living sustainably
- It’s easy to get around Henderson-Massey safely without using a car
Eligibility Criteria
- community organisations with a formal legal structure
- groups or individuals with no formal legal structure can apply for up to $1,000 (Kaipatiki Local Board will not fund individuals)
- applicants seeking funding over $1,000 will need to nominate an umbrella organisation or
- receive funding retrospectively.
