Call for Proposals 2021: Support for Enterprise Development

The Regional Hub for Southern Africa of the Dutch Humanist Institute for Cooperation with Developing Countries (Hivos Foundation) as the grants manager for the Norwegian funded Cultural Fund for Malawi (CFM is seeking proposals from interested civil society organizations in the arts and cultural sector).

The CFM stands on the notion that Freedom of Expression, Cultural Rights and the participation of cultural practitioners in democratic processes and other arenas that facilitate critical debate are essential if people are to form their opinions and become engaged in any genuine democratic development.

Eligibility Criteria

This is an open call for the various strands in the arts and cultural sector such as film, design, craft, fashion, music, photography, creative writing etc. Grants are provided to eligible independent civil society organizations including rights holder associations, cultural and arts organizations, arts and cultural practitioners based in Malawi and based on the following criteria:

Organizations, Institutions and individuals interested to apply for the small grants should submit proposals as follows:

Women led organizations will have an added advantage and are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply

The minimum page limit for the submission is 5 pages and maximum 10 pages with font size 12 which should be sent via email at the address given on the website.
