ICNL: Promoting a Favorable Legal Environment for NGOs in Guatemala- Call for Applications

The International Center for Not-for-profit Law (ICNL) is pleased to invite the submission of applications from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Guatemala, to promote favorable legal environment in the country.

The International Center for Not-for-Profit Law works to build an enabling legal environment for civil society, philanthropy, and public participation around the world. Occasionally, we offer grants to civil society organizations and others working to promote and protect civic freedoms, as well as fellowships and internships at ICNL.

ICNL is the leading source for information on the legal environment for civil society and public participation. Since 1992, ICNL has served as a resource to civil society leaders, government officials, and the donor community in over 100 countries.

Each proposal must highlight the following elements:

Proposals related to broader issues, for example rights to land or union rights will not be considered. Every proposal must incorporate Among the topics to be treated at least one of the following topics: Initiative 5257 (Decree 4-2020) and the regulations against money laundering and against financing of terrorism (AML-CFT) affecting NGOs in Guatemala.
