IFA invites Art-based Project Proposals from Teachers of Government Schools in India

Creative Placemaking Fund in Australia

Deadline: 31-Jul-22

The India Foundation for the Arts (IFA) is seeking proposals from school teachers to be involved as facilitators of these projects with the aim of implementing art integration projects in government schools in Karnataka.

Kali Kalisu is an attempt to make learning in students a continuous process along with the adoption of art media by teachers in the teaching process. A desire to bring about a student-centered learning system through integrated efforts of creative movement and curriculum that transcends the school room and strengthens a special relationship with the outside world through story, song, drama, painting and any indigenous art form.

Based on the above objectives, IFAU is inviting project proposals. These projects, which complement school curricula, should build a solid foundation for arts-based curricula. It is desirable that art-based assignments that encourage students’ creativity and research quality are clearly addressed in their proposal.
