The Igman Initiative is seeking proposals for the implementation of the projects under the regional Action “CARE – Contribution to Access of Refugees and IDPs to Rights and Employment Opportunities” to contribute to technical, socio-cultural and economic sustainability of the Regional Housing Programme by increasing the effectiveness of CSOs in undertaking the initiatives focused on RHP end-beneficiaries.
Type of LOTs
- LOT 1
- Types of activities which may be financed under this component are the following:
- Collection and analysis of data on socio-cultural and economic sustainability of the RHP in targeted municipalities, in particular on the needs and socio-economic status of the beneficiaries of MNE8 Sub-project, based on methodology of the Catholic Relief Services and in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare;
- Creation of socio-economic cards of the families who participated in the survey in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
- LOT 2
- Types of activities which may be financed under this lot are the following:
- Providing specific forms of assistance and support to the beneficiaries of the MNE8 Sub-project, selected from the preliminary list of the Ministry for Labour and Social Welfare, according to clearly defined criteria, for attaining technical, socio-cultural and/or economic sustainability of RHP subprojects in targeted municipalities for integration purposes, e.g.:
- Design and deliver training programmes, at own initiative or in cooperation with relevant government bodies,
- Direct assistance to RHP end-beneficiaries in accessing education, employment, selfemployment and income-generating opportunities;
- Direct assistance to RHP end-beneficiaries in obtaining documents, registering residence and resolving their legal status.

Funding Information
The overall indicative amount made available under this Call for Proposal for Montenegro is € 22,000.
Indicative allocation of funds by lot
- LOT 1 – Improvement access to data and analysis on the sustainability of the Regional Housing Programme – € 2,000
- LOT 2 – Enhancement RHP beneficiaries’ livelihoods, access to rights, and local integration – € 20,000
- Any grant requested under LOT 2 must fall between the following minimum and maximum amount:
- Minimum amount: EUR 10,000
- Maximum amount: EUR 20,000
Eligibility Criteria
In order to be eligible for sub-grant the applicant must
- be a legal person and,
- be non- profit making and,
- be civil society organizations and,
- be established in Serbia or Montenegro,
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action, not acting as an intermediary and,
- be experienced and able to demonstrate their capacity to manage larger scale activities corresponding to the size and type of the project for which a grant is being requested.
