UNDP is requesting proposals for Impact Documentation of UNDP’s Socio-Economic Response Work to restore livelihoods and expanding access to jobs and prepare a strategic consolidated impact document including the key learnings, case studies, and human impact stories.
The following are the broad sets of interventions that were undertaken by the Inclusive Growth Unit of UNDP to address the socio-economic impact of COVID-19.
- Interventions on restoring livelihoods of farmers and artisans such as training on digital and financial literacy, formation and strengthening of producer groups and linking producers and micro entrepreneurs with the market in the states of 5 Haryana, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Assam.
- Interventions related to facilitating access to jobs in the states of Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana.
- Setting-up of help-desks/helplines in partnership with Industry Associations in three States (Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana) to support MSMEs with advisory, information, training and linkages support to ensure safe resumption of operations and business continuity.
- Online career guidance and counselling sessions for almost youth to support them in accessing job opportunities through ‘Sach Honge Sapne’ (dreams will come true), an online series to provide information on employment opportunities, job readiness, soft skills, etc. to young people.
Scope of Work
To achieve the above objective, the service provider is expected to carry out the following activities virtually – through desk research and virtual interactions with stakeholders:
- Study and analyse all data and final reports, case studies, etc. documenting the various interventions (prepared by respective CSO implementing partners of 15 UNDP’s COVID-19 socio-economic response work), to develop consolidated strategic insights, descriptive analysis and visual representation on

- Beneficiary profile segregation (age, gender, occupation, social and economic status, etc.)
- Geography
- Target vs. Achievement
- Identification of potential case studies / human stories etc.
Deliverables
- Consolidated Strategic Impact Document – a report (maximum 30 pages) with details of Inclusive Growth’s COVID-19 response work, impact data analysis substantiated with short case studies, and summaries of challenges and key learnings.
- Professionally designed presentation of the key elements of the report
- 20 Case Studies / Human Impact Stories

- Proposals are invited from the institutions/organizations only.
- Proposals submitted by individuals will not be accepted.
