The project is part of the context of support for the National School Feeding Program (PNAE), implemented at the national level by the Government of Honduras, with the aim of providing a decent environment for the population student beneficiary generating safe and hygienic spaces that promote and validate good practices in the food preparation of the selected school centers.
The works and improvements must be constructed according to current national regulations and comply with the construction regulations of the Ministry of Education (SEDUC).
The World Food Programme has prioritized the construction/repair of physical spaces for the proper and hygienic preparation of food within the educational center with special emphasis on being able to generate access to safe water within educational centers allowing the student population to consume foods that enhance their nutrition in a dignified and safe environment.
Objectives
- Improvement of kitchen and cellar spaces according to the requirements of plans and the offer breakdown sheet, under SEDUC regulations.
- Generate access to water with Focus on quality of service.
- Generate access to safe spaces in two educational centers in the departments identified.
