INL Request for Statement of Interest: Female Corrections Academy Training, Development, and Mentoring Assistance Project in Saudi Arabia

The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), U.S. Department of State, is seeking Statements of Interests (SOIs) from qualified organizations interested in participating in an INL project to support Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) women’s corrections training project.

The selected grantee will provide training of trainers for female Saudi training academy staff, as well as provide curricula to the training academy for all training provided by the grantee, so academy staff can provide instruction to Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate on Prisons (GDP) personnel.

Participants will work in close collaboration with the INL team of corrections subject matter experts in Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the Department of State’s Office of Program Management – Ministry of the Interior-United States (OPM-MOI-US), and GDP Female Corrections Training Academy to deliver training of trainers for up to 50 female corrections training academy instructors from the GDP.  The grantee will provide the knowledge and skills necessary to develop a female corrections training academy that graduates GDP staff who are prepared for work in a modern correctional setting that conforms to internationally-accepted best correctional practices and human rights standards.
