Support for Civil Society Foundation is implementing the Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund with the financial support of individual and corporate donors in cooperation with the Turkey Mozaik Foundation.
Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund was established to support non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in the field after the earthquake, whose epicentre was determined as the Aegean Sea on October 30, 2020. The fund will be distributed as a grant to cover the work carried out by NGOs in the field within the framework of a project and the operational expenses required for the implementation of these works.
Considering the urgency of the needs in the region and the intensity of NGOs working in the field, the application processes for the Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund will be simpler and faster than our other funds. Accordingly, the application form prepared to collect applications to the fund is aimed at understanding the relevant activities of CSOs in the best way and has been simplified in order not to impose an additional burden on their work in the field.
Funding Information
- The total amount of grant to be distributed within the scope of Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund is at least 200,000 TL. Within the scope of the fund, support will be provided for the realization of medium and long-term activities as well as meeting the urgent needs identified by NGOs in the field.
- Applicant NGOs can request a minimum of 70,000 TL and a maximum of 100,000 TL from the grant program.
Requirements
Qualifications sought in applicant organizations and applications:
- Being a non-profit non-governmental organization with a legal personality (association, foundation, cooperative, etc.)
- Working in the relevant disaster area in order to meet the needs arising from the earthquake or To have started an active initiative to work
- The activities in the application are based on a needs analysis based on the needs in the earthquake field (For example institutional costs related to the field operation of non-governmental organizations that arise while meeting these needs, work to support the cooperation of civil society in the field or other emergency assistance. activities)
- The applications are made with a detailed budget of at least 70.000 TL and maximum 100.000 TL
- Submission of a time plan covering the activities in the application
- Professional associations and charities and social assistance and solidarity foundations cannot benefit from the grant program.
- Applicants’ universities, companies, public institutions and local governments, structures that do not have legal personality, etc. It is possible for them to cooperate with.
Application Submissions
- Organizations wishing to apply must complete the Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund application form until 10:00 on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 (Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund tab).

- When submitting the application form;
- The budget table containing your request from the Izmir Earthquake Emergency Support Fund in order to realize the purpose specified in the application,
- A time plan covering the activities in the application,
- The statute, deed or the main contract text of the institution,
- Information, document, publication that you think will strengthen your application, news, etc. you must add the information to the relevant section of the form.
- Applications will not be taken into consideration until the aforementioned additional documents are delivered to the Support Foundation for Civil Society.
