The Jumuiya Women Fund (JWF) is calling for proposals for Small Grants to provide grants to eligible women rights and development organizations in selected counties across Kenya, who are working to advance human rights and socio-economic empowerment of women and girls, enabling them realize their full potentials in society in line with the sustainable development goals.

Jumuiya Women Fund (JWF) is nonprofit and nonpolitical women’s rights and development organization which leverages its local philanthropic and capacity strengthening strategies to deliver impactful socio-economic outcomes for women and girls in a human rights based context. The Organization is committed to increasing strategic empowerment of the women and girls for improved gender equality and sustainable socio-economic development.

Their groundbreaking work in local philanthropy empowers women organizations and social enterprises to close the gender inequality gap across healthcare, business enterprises, and social organizations. Funding Information

JWF anticipates awarding grants between minimum KES 200,000 and maximum KES 500,000. The duration of any grant awarded under this solicitation is expected to be not less than 6 months and not more than 12 months. The estimated start date of grants awarded under this solicitation is on or about April 15 2022. JWF strives to build partnerships with the grantees that go beyond financial commitments.
