Kress Foundation launches Digital Art History Grant Program – United States

The Kress Foundation is currently seeking applications for its Digital Art History Grant Program to foster new forms of research and collaboration and new approaches to teaching and learning.

Support may be offered for the digitization of important visual resources (especially art history photographic archives) in the area of pre-modern European art history; of primary textual sources (especially the literary and documentary sources of European art history); for promising initiatives in online publishing; and for innovative experiments in the field of digital art history.

Supports efforts to integrate new technologies into the practice of art history and the creation of important online resources in art history, including both textual and visual resources.
