Lived and Living Experience Workforce Leadership Development Grants

CFPs: Improving quality of Care and Health Outcomes through Innovative systems and Technologies (Malawi)

Deadline: 18-Nov-22

Mental Health Victoria is accepting applications for its Lived and Living Experience Workforce Leadership Development Grants.

The Royal Commission recommended that the transformed Victorian mental health and wellbeing system should be designed, delivered and led by people with lived and living experience. To support this foundational part of the reform agenda, the Department of Health has provided funding for MHV (Mental Health Victoria) to allocate grants that can build leadership in current lived and living experience workers, across consumer and family/carer roles in state-funded mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD) or harm reduction services.

Supporting reform of Victoria’s mental health and wellbeing system is a process that intends to engage people with a lived experience at its core. Building lived and living experience workforce skills, knowledge and capabilities is a key priority of Victoria’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Workforce Strategy 2021-24. Aligning with this, the grants are for leadership focused qualifications and courses to support lived and living experience workers.
