Applications are now open for the Maribyrnong City Council’s 2020 Community Grants Program.

The Maribyrnong City Council Community Grants Program is designed to support organisations or projects that create social inclusion, help build an intercultural and intergenerational city and engage people from diverse communities of all ages, social and cultural backgrounds to participate in and contribute to community life.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its effect on all in community, the 2020 Community Grants Program is supporting responses that enable community and community organisations to adapt and build resilience.

Priorities 

Grant Categories

Funding is not limited to implementing a ‘project’ but could be focused on planning, professional development, governance and/or succession planning and training to respond to emerging needs from the COVID-19 pandemic.
