The International Renaissance Foundation has announced a competition for mini-grants to embody non-trivial and compelling ideas for developing critical thinking.
The Foundation wants to support projects that will give society the tools and inspiration to think and stand for the benefits of critical thinking, democracy, openness, human rights and active participation in creating change.
The Foundation welcomes projects that aim to work well with well-defined target audiences. Priority will be given to innovative projects that combine work with different channels of communication.
Funding Information
- The maximum size of the mini-grant – 150 thousand UAH.
- The average size of the mini-grant – 100 thousand UAH. Projects with a larger budget can be considered, provided that they are highly relevant and the budget is reasonably justified.
- The duration of the project should be in line with its goals and objectives and may last from two to six months.
With your projects, try to answer the following questions:
- How to develop your own critical thinking skills?
- How not to succumb to information manipulation?
- How to find, analyze, evaluate and apply the information you need?
Eligibility Criteria
Participants of the competition may be NGOs registered in Ukraine.
Evaluation Criteria
- The evaluation criteria for applications will be:
- Innovative ideas and approaches;
- Realistic goals, key performance metrics and budget;
- Ability to scale and reproduce campaign results;
- Availability of information campaigns.
