The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of China is seeking applications for its “The Coral Initiative” to foster deeper and more diverse collaboration in the arts among the cultural communities of Latin America, Caribbean, and Taiwan.

The term “cultural exchanges and collaborative projects” specifies mounting exhibitions, performance, creating or writing, community building, preservation of cultural assets, renovation, interning, fieldwork investigations and recording, research, interviews, journalistic reporting, workshops, filmmaking, and civic society-related activities, or other items as approved by the Ministry.

Grants will be awarded in amounts up to N$3 million (US$215,500) per project – NT$1.5 million for project implementation and NT$1.5 million for project promotion.
