National AIDS Control Program to achieve HIV Epidemic Control in India

India Open Grants Fund - Apply Now!

Deadline: 22-Feb-22

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) India is seeking applications for a cooperative agreement to support the National AIDS Control Program (NACP) to achieve HIV epidemic control in priority geographies by implementing comprehensive activities across the prevention to treatment cascade.

The recipient(s) will build on and develop innovative, evidence-based strategies to improve HIV prevention, case finding, and linkage among unreached populations across all age bands and genders, including key populations (KP) and their partners. To improve life-long HIV engagement on treatment and viral load (VL) suppression, the recipient(s) will build on existing strategies and innovate people-centered, differentiated service delivery (DSD) strategies for people living with HIV (PLHIV). The recipient(s) will engage and collaborate with district and state teams as well as with communities to strengthen capacity in using real time data for programmatic improvement and enhanced community engagement.

The purpose of this NOFO is to support NACP in achieving HIV epidemic control in priority geographies by implementing comprehensive activities and services across the prevention to treatment cascade. In coordination with GOI, this NOFO addresses the high burden of HIV and TB/HIV among high-risk groups including KPs, through people-centered service delivery in PEPFAR-supported geographies. It will build on prior efforts, while embracing innovation in prevention, case finding, treatment continuity, and durable VL suppression through catalytic activities as described in CDC’s ROP 2022.
