NEA: Seeking Applications for USArtists International Program

SEE announces RFPs for 2020-2021 Partnership Projects Competition

Deadline: 15 January 2019

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is seeking applications for its program entitled “USArtists International” to enter into a Cooperative Agreement with a RAO to administer the 2020-2021 cycle of the USAI program.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has a long history of supporting the participation of artists from the U.S. at international festivals abroad. Since 2004, this commitment has been carried out through USArtists International (USAI), a NEA program undertaken in partnership with a U.S. Regional Arts Organization (RAO).

USAI supports performances by U.S. artists at important cultural festivals and arts marketplaces outside of the U.S. and its jurisdictions. The program aims to extend the reach and impact of performing artists and their accomplishments globally. USAI subgrants may support costs such as artist fees, travel, housing, per diem, shipping, and visa preparation.
