The Nehru Trust is seeking applications from Indian scholars or professionals for its Small Study and Research Grant program.
The Trust awards a number of small study and research grants for the purpose of undertaking fieldwork and for the acquisition of research materials essential to research within India.
These awards will normally be of a maximum of Rupees. It must be taken up the financial year (from April 1st to March 31st) immediately subsequent to the award.
Eligibility Criteria
- The awards are open to citizens of India who are established scholars or professionals concerned with the preservation, study and display of India’s art and cultural heritage.
- Candidates are required to demonstrate their institution’s support for their application, and that they have established communication with any institution relevant to their application
