The City of Greater Geelong is now inviting applications for its Neighbourhood House Grants Program.
The Neighbourhood House Grant is offered to assist the Department of Fairness, Families and Housing (DFFH) funded and approved Neighbourhood Houses in the City of Greater Geelong to provide opportunities that benefit the wider Geelong community.
The aim is to provide ongoing support to Neighbourhood Houses to ensure the continued delivery of needs-based programs and projects to community members and also to enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life for people living in the Greater Geelong Region.

- There is a total grant pool of $40,000 available for Round two.
- Community Development Project: $4,000
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) Neighbourhood Houses can apply for projects and activities that assist them to deliver needs-based programs and projects that benefit and enhance the health, wellbeing and quality of life for people living in the Greater Geelong Region.
- DFFH recognised Neighbourhood Houses
- The Neighbourhood Houses Barwon (for Project Funding only)
Ineligibility Criteria
- Organisations and groups that are not a DFFH recognised Neighbourhood House
- Unincorporated bodies
- Organisations with outstanding debts or arrears to the City of Greater Geelong or experiencing insolvency or bankruptcy
- Organisations that have not satisfactorily acquitted previous funding from the City as required – this includes organisations that have acted as an auspice for an unincorporated group
